    Weber grill cover quality

Anyone experience tearing at the seams on your weber grill covers, in particular the one that fits the performer. Mine is tearing around the seams and I've only had it for 2 years. Thinking about repairing it with some duct tape rather than shelling out the nearly 50 bucks for a new one. I'm...

Cajun Bandit Rotisserie kettle rings ?

Any CB rotisserie experts out there that can assist with the two types of rings offered by CB? In looking at their website it appears that both at least look the same, but with some photos included on this site it appears that one of the rings can be flipped for the 22 WSM but in doing so it...

Cleaning the table on the Performer

Anyone have any tried and true cleaning ideas for the Performer table? I've noticed that the texture absorbs grease and although I get the surface clean the stains remain. Wish they kept the stainless steel design. Thanks, Mike

Where to put the meat probe

Still getting familiar with my digiQ and wondering when firing up the WSM where is the best place to have the meat probe? I think it's best just to leave it outside the grill so the probe is not affected by the temp inside the grill. Since I use eyelets I'll just thread it through outside the...

Impressive results with the DigiQ DX

Had the digiQ for a while and used it for the first time on a high smoke on the WSM. I did a prime rib and wanted the temp to hold at 300 degrees. I started the WSM when using an ATC like I normally do, simi-minion method and after an hour, the guru had the WSM right at 300. I used standard...

Charcoal or lump when using an ATC

All- I've noticed that with longer overnight type smokes especially in the breezy winter that even using the guru that I'll have to add more charcoal for a 16 hour smoke. Is it better to use lump for these longer temperature controlled smokes so I don't have to reload? I noticed that the...

    Performer in a 26.75

I'm wondering with the great popularity of the performer that weber would consider making a 26.75 performer. They already make these large kettles anyways so I'm wondering if they would consider producing a larger performer line. Anyone here work for weber?

Getting a bit frustrated and want to purchase a good reliable internal temperature gauge (money is no issue). In my kitchen are: (1) Nu-temp: had it for several years and seems to be the best working. I especially like the remote sensor. Went to their web page and they have been out of stock...

    Weber performer colors?

It seems to me that weber is shifting all of their colors to black. It has been hard for me to find other than black colors which are usually found by on line shopping. I would much rather and go to the store to purchase. I'm looking for the red version, although I think it is more darker...

    Remote Thermometer with internet access

Anyone know of an internal/external thermometer that has an internet interface? Love to smoke low and slow and it would be nice to check the temps while I'm at work through the internet. Any ideas? Maybe there's an App for that. I know stoker provides this, but I don't want the whole blower...

    NU Temp reading HHH?

I have the NU Temp 701 wireless thermometer and have used it about 8 times and lately after an hour or so my temp displays HHH. According to the manual it states that an HHH reading indicates more than 392F which I know is not the case. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be batteries...

    About to pullout the drill--yikes

I am about to nervously drill in a Tel-Tru 2-1/2" stem (BQ300) temperature gauge with a Unibit #4 step drill directly across from the vent on my precious Weber lid. After looking through the thorough drilling modification instruction page, I could not determine if the hole I drill (thinking...
