Still getting familiar with my digiQ and wondering when firing up the WSM where is the best place to have the meat probe? I think it's best just to leave it outside the grill so the probe is not affected by the temp inside the grill. Since I use eyelets I'll just thread it through outside the lid and stick in the meat once the WSM comes to temp. Is this the preferred method? Looking for suggestions on beat methods and if I'm using the right approach discribed above.
