quite messy plate, just threw hunks of meat on super fresh soft bread... the kind with real crusty crust.
beans peppers and onions with the corn filled the bill.

Those grates look fantastic. Where did you get them? My grate that came with my barely a month old SM is already sagging...Besides burning down the fence, LOL

Jim.. Your tri-tip and plate look terrific but that grate is a work of art. It's amazing what they're doing with laser technology these days.
 
That SM Grill looks like a really nice, easy-to-control setup

Kinda' wonder if for a Grate replacement - I would bet that you could cut-down a Cast Iron Storm Sewer Grate. (Looks like it's about the same size...)

That looks pretty darn edible, Jim.;) Where'd you find the tri-tip? Usually they're pretty scarce around here.
