rolled out the Santa Maria Grill for this cook

late spring, I added laser cut stainless steel 1/4" food grates

the tri tip was small, only 2 lbs.
seasoned with Oakridge Santa Maria Rub

that's red oak atop the Kingsford Competition Briquettes...

had some corn to roast, but decided to use a Weber to cook those...

a few minutes later, the grub was cooked, removed from heat and rested.
until I chopped it all up.

quite messy plate, just threw hunks of meat on super fresh soft bread... the kind with real crusty crust.
beans peppers and onions with the corn filled the bill.

it was all good.
thanks for swinging by.
