I did pepper-stout beef again yesterday. Sometime around 8am I started a chimney, filled the ring (ring along w/ chimney estimated to be about half-full), foiled the pan & warmed up the smoker. The rub was granulated garlic, dehydrated minced onion, dehydrated minced jalapeno, pepper corns, some coffee beans - ran all that through the mini food processor...forgot salt so I added ~1.5 Tbsp after it was on the smoker.
Went and did a little of this:
Came home to this around 2:30pm
I was hungry, hadn't had anything other than coffee yet
SBR & hab sauce on an onion bun
I had a little time to kill while I transferred my homebrew stout from it's primary to secondary, so I put it in the enameled DO & cleaned & sanitized the kitchen etc.
Ready for veggies:
