My niece is staying with us for a few. She decided to spoil our already spoiled short dogs and moved their bed to the front door do that they could lie in the sun!

Our house has been chaos the last couple of weeks as we prepare to downsize and move (all of 8 miles). The dogs have taken the brunt with obviously less attention and almost complete disorder in their lives. Both went through a couple of days of what was probably stress diarrhea (yuck!), but are holding up ok now. The move is day after tomorrow. Then it's adapting to a new smaller place with a postage stamp yard.

Jason, he's an English Cocker spaniel, and therefore a little bit bigger than the American Cocker Spaniel.
From Wikipedia:
The major differences between the English and American varieties is that the American is smaller with a shorter back, a domed head, and a shorter muzzle, while the English variety is taller with a narrower head and chest.

Our rescue pup “Manchas”who has been with us since 2010 celebrated his fourteenth(14) birthday on March 01,2023 and will hate the day when he goes to “Doggie Heaven”. However, they say that such animals accept more easily of leaving our earth than we humans.

We currently have our 20th and 21st dogs. None of the others have been forgotten. I don't think you ever stop missing them any more than any other member of your family..
