New Dog Pics - Post Pics Of Your Best Friend!

Gorgeous! My first dog at 5 years old was a Shepherd. He was accused of biting my ear, but I cried all the way to the hospital that he was just playing (it was a claw).

We are big rescuers of dogs. When one of ours passes away, after a few weeks to help my grief, I just know that there is a dog somewhere that maybe is stuck behind a cage and needs our help.

This has been a rough summer. I’ve lost both of my dogs recently to cancer (11 & 14).

In time I’ll get another dog but I’m not there yet.
It is so hard to lose even one -- two so close together is especially bad. You'll know it's time for another when the pain in your heart is overwhelmed by the hole in your life.

Love to see traveling dogs! Our fine Dante (now gone) had 30,000 road miles with us all around the US. Tonto has been fro FL to NC, then across to WA state to pick up Icy. I made a window-level platform anchored to a seat belt with a crossing tether line to secure short leashes to their harnesses. Proven safe on that last trip!

Lots to be proud of there! Given their size, I assume you have them well trained. I always was careful to train my large dogs (especially the 110 lb Malemute), but have gotten kind of slack with the little dogs. They still obey, but on far fewer commands. And I truly feel sorry for my wife if I pass. An example: She knows when it's time to feed the dogs because Tonto is standing on her laptop while it's in her lap! So I have to live forever!

and so does DH. (to feed me, not the cat) 🥰 OK, ALSO the cat. At least cats don.t have to be walked, but, UGG, they do have litter boxes to be cleaned out.

Yes they are trained. They are trained for Shutzhund.

I know that this isn't for everyone. This is what we train for. If you meet our dogs on the sidewalk they are like a friendly lab. When we do business this is what they do.
