This is my granddog, Alfie, a shelter dog. My daughter adopted him, and her friend adopted Afie's brother, 6 years ago.

Larry, your Alfie definitely has genes from the same lines as our Affens. We once foster a dog for a short time that looked remarkably like Alfie. The Affen Rescue folks swore he was Affenpinscher. At least a mix.

He got a good mixture of genes, whatever the source. I think he's a right handsome fellow. He and his two brothers were all up for adoption at the same time, and my daughter got the pick of the litter, literally.

One day I was taking sliders off the grill and accidentally missed the plate with one and she gobbled it up in about .5 seconds. From that moment forward when I was at the grill she was right there waiting for cheeseburgers from heaven. lol.

We waited a few months then got our new pup, ZuZu
