whipped together an avocado salsa

using ¼lb Hebrew National Beef Franks, i slashed the dogs lightly before grilling
(per the recipe directions)

rolling them over the hot grates, i wanted a bit charred dog look...

lobbed the grilled doggies into New England style top-split dog buns then topped with sour cream then the avocado salsa.

...sun pickles on the side....

these were good...

I coulda eight ate more!

Killer. I keep hearing Burger King grilled dog commercials on the radio and think now, that does not sound appetizing at all. But, I'd go out of my way for Lampe grilled dogs.

These dogs were sooo good, we've decided to celebrate Nat'l Dog Day every couple of weeks and try different "dog saddles"
