Wifey likes these & are EZ to do. Did a half-recipe:

1 lb Hamburger
1 lb Chorizo
Chopped Jalapenos
1/2 medium onion – diced
5 – 6 garlic cloves – minced
1 – 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
Mix by hand & form into patties
Grill 5 – 7 minutes per side
Add cheese if desired
Toast Buns
Build the Burger

Had to add some breadcrumbs.
Cooked on the JJ & used the home-made frustum (nomenclature is important)

Let's eat!!!

Those look fantastic Robert, thanks for the recipe!
Tatters look good too. You grilled them also?

Nice looking burgers there. I love chorizo. Not wishing to still your thunder. I find adding an egg, as well as the breadcrumbs, helps bind the mix and stop them falling apart.

Enrico. What is KISS method?

Very nice, Robert! Do you make your own chorizo? I often mix lean ground beef 2:1 with commercial chorizo for tacos but find the chorizo to be pretty fatty.

Thank s. No, I get it at a Carneceria about 5 blocks from the house - good stuff and at $2.39 a pound it makes life EZ. It's got lots of fat in it, for sure. Grilling it gets rid of a lot of it, though.
