So between selling our house and our next one being built I will be moving into a apartment for just under a year. They don't allow gas or charcoal grills on the balcony. Was thinking about getting one of the Q electrics. Anyone have any experience with them? I searched the forums but did not...
Picked up a 2lb tri-tip last night seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooked it on the Genesis along with some foil wrapped red skin potatoes. Came out great. Second cook using the MEATER+ and it worked perfectly.
Decided on smash burgers last night. 3 ounce balls smashed with onions bacon and cheddar on brioche buns. I forgot how good these are as I have not done them this way in awhile
A couple of weeks ago my wife got me two slabs of their Berkshire ribs. One rack is 1.3lbs the other is 2lbs. I have smoked a lot of spares before but the weight of these has me wondering if I need to adjust how I normally cook them. I have always smoked spares on my WSM at 250-275 for 3 hours...
So this NYE it was just the dog and myself. My wife and son usually take a mini vacation together the week after Christmas and this year they drove to Atlanta to go to the Peach Bowl. Wife is a MSU alum. Picked up this bone in ribeye that was a little over 2 pounds. Grilled on the Genesis around...
Bought some seeds from Sandia Seed Company in NM and planted them a few months back. We have a lot in the garden and looking for some of your favorite recipes or ways to use them. For sure going to top some roasted ones on a burger.
Originally was planning on ribs but we had everything on hand for pizza.
Pepperoni and bacon
Pesto, chicken, artichokes and red onion
Sausage, Pepperoni, mushrooms, Bell peppers
Thanks for looking.

So I was inspired By Greg in Utah and CaseT pork and chicken cooks using the marinade they posted. Could not find fresh chicken wings (evidently there is a shortage) so I used legs and thighs. Grilled it indirect with RO lump charcoal. Somehow I messed up taking the picture on the kettle...

After seeing a lot of great cooks on the roti's I decided to get back in the game with mine. My spit rod got bent up a few years ago. I contacted Onegrill.com and this is what they are suggesting for my replacement rod for the 22" kettle. Does this all look right. Will it fit in the Weber motor...
Anyone do this? It's sitting on top of the water bowl. I don't use water in it and was thinking of foiling the shield for easier cleanup. Never use the heat shield as my WSM sits on concrete. Going to throw some baby backs on in a few hours.
The weather is finally nice in Michigan so I broke out the kettle pizza attachment. Actually did 4 different pizzas but only had the chance to get a pic of one. Homemade dough and sauce. My wife will roll the dough out and assemble the pizzas and I cook them. I think it only took around 30...
