Any fisherman here? Looking for a higher quality filet knife. Been using the 6" and 4" Rapala for years and they work but getting the edge back takes a lot more work them my kitchen knives. Primarily used for pan fish and pike

I was given a Chicago Cutlery filet knife probably thirty five years ago which has served me well.
Maybe fifteen years ago I friends son was working his way through college selling Cutco and, I got one of their adjustable length filet knives, it’s super flexible and sharp as anything! They are both in the arsenal around here.
The Chicago holds more memories but, the cutco is very nice.

The Rapala knives are very hard stainless. Which is why they hold their edge but are hell to sharpen. I have tried others but there's just something about the Rapala that just "works"
