Did a couple 1/2lb burgers on the Genesis last night. 80/20 chuck with bacon, cheddar, and onions.

Fabulous! Just what I needed to see today since I'll be making one for myself with the leftover after thawing hamburger for Monday's meatloaf. My wife can't eat meat, so a spare half pound is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration.

@Ryan Burke , just wanted to acknowledge you and again say thanks. Last night I made the best burger that I've been able to concoct. I was a monster and seared up fabulously. I'm only sorry that I forgot to prove it with pics. Anyway, with about a 1/2 lb of ground chuck, added a teaspoon of Worchestershire, a whole egg, about 1/4 cup of Panko, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar, 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper, mixed lightly and put it in the fridge to set. With the weight of that burger, I oiled the grate this time and place the burger on when good and hot. It all came loose nicely when flipped to add two slices of white American. Then used a grill toasted potato bun, mustard, leftover chopped onion, tomato, lettuce and ketchup on the bottom bun. Big thick burger to big for a mouth, so ate away at the sides. And it was truly fabulous even though I can't prove it. Again, my thanks!
