rotisserie help

After seeing a lot of great cooks on the roti's I decided to get back in the game with mine. My spit rod got bent up a few years ago. I contacted Onegrill.com and this is what they are suggesting for my replacement rod for the 22" kettle. Does this all look right. Will it fit in the Weber motor. I may have to enlarge the part on the frame where the spit contacts with using the bushing.

This is the response from customer service

Hello,
Thank you for contacting OneGrill. Unfortunately due to several variations in the fit for the Weber brand kettle attachment over the years we do not carry an off the shelf option. Ultimately you could use one of our standard 5/16" square rotisserie spit rods, but you would need to cut the notch in the rotisserie cylinder to allow for the use of a bushing which will be larger in i.d. than that original spit rod was with the groove machined into the face. For a 22" a 28" long spit rod would be a nice length. I have provided below a link for the rod as well as a bushing should this be a good route for you.
