I got acquainted with this tome some 35 years ago, it was written by a relative of an lighting engineer I supported. He wrote it on a lark, figuring it'd only get a couple of publishings at best. It went well over 30 printings. I was told he was contemplating writing Furtive Fauna: Things That Live Under Your Clothes.
