When we were kids....it WAS the source of water during the day. We were allowed to go out at 8 AM but we had to be home BEFORE the street lights came on... or else. Living on the Presidio in San Francisco at 13, it was kid Nirvana......

Presidio means jail in Spanish. (just found that out)
