OLD!!
Preparing to grill a couple of pork steaks yesterday made me stop and ask myself,
how long have I been making these things?
45 years! and I'm still no expert.
Two brined ones on with a light touch of a rub mix:
Gave them a good indirect hickory wood smoking before going direct.
Haven't made naked corn for a long time, so mine was stripped.
Bandana's Sweet & Smoky for the sauce.
These were on the thin side.
Sided with KC Masterpiece Applewood Smoked Bacon beans, from a can.
Pork steak and beans were super, and the corn was good, but I'll stick with grilling it in the husk since it's more juicy that way, at least to me.
Backyard update.
Getting grass growing where the old pool fill-in took place.
Tomatoes after this morning's rain:
Thanks for the visit, have a great Labor Day everyone!!
