WSM...Can you smoke/BBQ in the rain?

I have my WSM on a rolling plant stand that Mom and Dad got me and you can set up under cover and then once assembled roll the smoker out to safety. At that point taking the lid off is getting a minimal amount of rain into the smoker, and even less down by the coals as the food, grates, water...

this person should go to hell LOL

"Originally yes they did have those side tables but they took up a lot of space so we removed them. I honestly don't think we kept them. Sorry". This is the reply I got. They seemed surprised I noticed. I checked on it, because I thought maybe they took them off when the grill was new, and...

Please help me - just had a stroke and trying to use my grill as for healthier eating

I had a similar issue a couple years back with a brand new tank. I had taken my old trustee tanks to the local hardware store to have them filled and the clerks said they could not fill the tanks, as they looked fine, but the inspection on the valve portion was only good for 10 years and both...

Weird? Others can see the pics, and I can see the pics. I wonder why you can't? Not sure what to say about that, other than I will need to check out Imgur and switch to that instead of using Dropbox. Sorry for now!

    Kingsford Original 2/18.6 $12.88 37.2¢/lb Lowes 5/3-5/9/18

Is Memorial Day weekend when Home Depot does their big discount on the same product? I grabbed 7 twin 18.6# packs earlier this week as they have them at $14.99 right now. I thought they usually did around $10 for the same twin pack at some point in the spring?

    Not Really Carnitas Carnitas

That looks tasty! I'm gonna have to give that a try! I'm wondering if the smokiness of the chilles you used were enough, or if there would be any benefit to doing the initial cook on the smoker, then finish it in the oven like you did?

Thanks for all the photo help gang! I will look into Imgur, just haven't ever used that. I'm seeing from looking around online that the images turning is a common problem with Dropbox that is not fixable when posting to forums, so Imgur will probably save the day.

    Brisket for beginners

I mostly smoke whole briskets, so I'm not sure if this is good advise, but thought I'd help, as I've figured out a lot of ways to dry out a brisket, and only one that has delivered great results on the last 3 attempts. I start with the brisket whole and not wrapped. Bring it to room temp...
