Some Ranch cooks. The good, The assistant, and The Ugly

Here is part of a cook I did on the Ranch. Scallops in a cast iron skillet. They turned out perfect, and plenty of heat-and hold Space for the finished product...well, the ones I didn't eat while cookin!

Did up a huge stockpile of Siracha Jerky ala Steve Raichlin. Started with brisket and ended up with some tasty snacks.

The aforementioned failed cook a little into the process.

This cook "failed" because I didn't follow my gut instinct, and instead I followed a recipe. The end product was dry. Should have left the chucks whole and not panned. The after smokey I shoulda wrapped em up and finished them either on the grill or in the oven. Won't be second guessing my gut on beef again!

Ok, I gave it my best and entered the images in a format I thought was golden. Anyone have advise on getting the images to show? Thanks
 
Here is a "how to" for using Imgur from a computer:

1. Sign in.

2. Under your name dropdown, click albums.

3. In blue at the top you will see "New Album". Click on that.

4. You will see "Create An Album". So, name your album & make sure public is selected. & then save.

5. Next a dialogue will come up "Select images for this album". Just hit save. Don't select anything.

6. Under your name drop-down in the upper right select "Images"

7. Under the "Add images" select your newly created album.

8. Under "Auto resize" select the size you like. The 17 inch monitor size works very well.

9. Then hit "Add images". You can browse your computer to find the pix you want. Select them.

10. Your pix get uploaded.

11. Under your name drop-down select albums.

12. Open your album. Select "rearrange images" & move them around to your satisfaction. You can also add more images.

13. Click "Done rearranging.

14. Almost home.... Right-Click on your pic.

15. Select "copy image address" or click the "copy" box on the page.

16. & paste it into the "insert image" button in the top of the TWVBB tool bar.

17. Hit OK. & you're done.

I know this seems like a lot of work, but once you have done it a few times it goes rather quickly.

Glad to see your persistence paid off Adam. Those are some terrific photo'and your property is gorgeous as is your cooking! Your assistant is a cutie as well. It all looks delicious but I'm sorry you were disappointed with the chucks. They may not have been to your liking but they certainly aren't ugly.
 
Pretty impressive cooker, cooking & results. Hate to say it, but I don't think you assistant is paying attention.

fwiw - if you are using imgur, you can edit your pix. If you click on an image in an album, right next to the box that will copy the image address is a check mark. Click on that and there will be a drop down with edit as a choice. Or if you have selected an image (not from an album), mouse over the pic and a box will appear that you can click "edit image".
 
Thanks for all the photo help gang! I will look into Imgur, just haven't ever used that. I'm seeing from looking around online that the images turning is a common problem with Dropbox that is not fixable when posting to forums, so Imgur will probably save the day.

Sorry they didn't turn out to your liking, Adam. But as Cliff said, they look fantastic. And the scallops? Man! There's not much better than a tender, sauteed scallop on the grill. Looking forward to your next post.

Weird? Others can see the pics, and I can see the pics. I wonder why you can't? Not sure what to say about that, other than I will need to check out Imgur and switch to that instead of using Dropbox. Sorry for now!
