We bought a new camper, and I needed to put some covers over the vents
I had to go up to our storage lot to install them, as the camper is too big to bring home and work on it here
As I was getting on top of the camper, I had one wish. Not to drop any of the nuts and bolts off of the top of the camper!
I did I drop one INTO the camper, so that doesn’t count!

I remember hearing about this (I had just gotten out of the Air Force), but reading the details of the amount of energy released is still amazing - “the missile exploded, blowing the 740-ton launch duct closure door 200 feet into the air and some 600 feet northeast of the launch complex.”
Luckily, the warhead behaved as designed. Let’s hope we never have to experience this again.
