Had an AOL account/email, owned (still do somewhere) a cassette and FM radio walkman. I got that one just as Sony had come out with their latest cassette one. It was only about the size of an actual cassette case. Still marveled at the workmanship in that little thing and how they got all that mechanism in there. It really was a beautifully crafted little piece

One of the dumbest things I can remember was hanging upside-down from the pull cord of a double overhead garage door, planting my feet on the door, and pushing until the cord snapped and sent me to the ground, headfirst, with all the force I'd managed to muster. Big chewing out and butt kicking as soon as I came to. In her defense, Mom didn't tell Dad when he got home from work, so I only got one butt kicking
