I used to love these commercials! They were all different but the same & witty. If I remember right, the singer is the lead singer from "Survivor"; you know - "Eye of the tiger".

You are correct. The singer is Dave Bickler from Survivor, and the announcer voice is Pete Stacker. To be completely honest, I didn't know that until I looked it up after you mentioned it though.

As a Survivor fan, yeah the voice is clear. Its a shame Dave had to leave the band after "Eye" in 82' (Jimi Jamison replaced him), but it was because of health and drug issues.
