Did this a few days ago but couldn’t get on the forum to post it.
My ISP had a problem with their DNS and it couldn’t ID the forum site.
I have to say the Kettle Gasser is the best indirect cooker I’ve ever seen. Why Weber doesn’t sell it in the USA is beyond me. Granted you can only cook indirect but it does such a great job it would be worth it.
I mostly use it to cook whole chickens.
This time I had an almost 16 pound turkey that had be lurking in the freezer since Christmas, so I gave it a try.
45 minutes on high and 75 minutes on low. 2 hours total cook time and a perfect bird.
This has to be the best turkey I’ve ever had and I’m a turkey junkie.
Super moist and tender just unbelievable, the skin was crisp and tasty.
Made some dressing and a yam with a few cranberry’s as sides
Thanksgiving in July on a rainy monsoon day. Love it!
Have a great week.
