Next da chicken.

Since you move the lid on the weber not the chicken when your cooking with the vortex, i added Ro Tel Mild diced tomatoes & green chilies with a slotted spoon
and it was a hit.

Your plate..

Your ribs & chicken look fantastic! I don't follow "move the lid." Are you saying you move the top vent at various spots on the clock during the cook?

Jeff a couple questions as I know nothing about the vortex could explain to me how it works and how you use it during a cook.
Great looking cooks there in such a limited space your back yard seems to be quite tight well done.

mini backyard?
looks like an outdoor closet! w0w... do you get claustrophobic going "in there"? ;)

however, this looks SENSATIONAL!!

Jeff I lived in Lake Forest for 30 years so I know some of the yards can be on the small side in Cali, but that's just nuts. But you sure are able to but on a great spread of food out there, nicely done.

Gorgeous looking cook. Ribs look delicious and I love those potatoes.

Once the coals are ready, you place your chicken or whatever your cooking and just turn the lid of your Weber BBQ every 12-15 minutes depending on heat. No flipping, just turn the lid.

Well Jim as they say Location Location Location, I don't mind a small backyard at all.

Thanks Rich, it's not the size of the backyard, it's what you do with it....:D

Jeff, some of my best feasts have been the result of careful pre planning then throwing it all out the window and being driven by "Beerspiration"
Manhattan driven recipes are high on my list too!

That's some great looking ribs & chicken.

fwiw - your cacti have chlorosis - time for some new soil!
