I’m back and decided to do a Pork Steak dinner with McCormick Grill Mates Molasses bacon seasoning.

One of my sides is sliced potatoes, onions seasoned with EVOO, butter, garlic salt & TJ’s 21 seasoning salute. Cooked in the CI skillet for about 15 to 20 minutes then inside.

Thanks for looking and have a great week.

Looks great Barb. That seasoning sounds wonderful, I'm going to have to pick some up.

I LOVE pork steak! It was one of the things my father used to do almost every week in the summer (until he got a kettle) on the POS "brazier" thing which was pretty normal at the time. Dang, I'm getting old!
Pork Steak is still my "go to" cheap dinner protein! Usually cheap, always available!
Barb, did you start from raw for the spuds or par boiled?

Timothy,I did par boiled them first to save time.

Super looking pork steak dinner Barb!
Sometimes I nuke my spuds a bit before slicing, then finish cooking in a ci skillet on the grill.

holeyMoses!
Barb, you did ONE thing i would NEVER EVER do...

Everything looks SPECTACULAR! Simply a Beautiful Cook!

but i would never EVER share MY pork steak with anyone !

Jim, you dive headlong into your cooks, what would you "NEVER, EVER" do!?
Thanks Barb. The edges looked "that way", the method makes prefect senseto me I get "short sighted" about that from time to time. I am often caught by time constraints and par boiling (or nuking) can help. I need to think more clearly.....most of the time!

Looks great Barb, I probably haven't had a pork steak in over 25 years since my grandma passed... Really need to start making them again.

Gorgeous looking pork steaks Barb. And done on the JJ too. (My go-to grill).
Pig is definitely the best meat to cook on the kettle.
