No Rain No Fire Restrictions Lets do Some Grillin

Now that the fire restrictions have been lifted and the monsoons are taking a little break it’s time to burn some charcoal.

We are trying to eat a little healthier, more veggies less fat, you know the drill.

Found a recipe in the Weber’s Big Book of Grilling called Pacific Rim Chicken Thighs.
Marinated the thighs for five hours.
Cooked with a small chimney of KBB direct/indirect on the JJ

Barb made up a medley of veggies with a little Yoshidas as a marinade. Served over some oriental noodles. Barb used the red head with a veggie basket to do her dish. I think Barb is calling the red head her own.

This dish was super good with great flavors, will be doing this again for sure.

Rich very nice cook I love grilled highs and Barb did a fantastic job on the Veggies, Yoshidas is hard to find around here use to get it at Sams but no longer. I will have to Google it to see what pops up.
 
Awesome!! I haven't looked at my BBQ Bible for several years but I think I need to start doing things a little differently again.... :)
 
You have "no grilling" restrictions? Odd.

We have no burn restrictions, but that's for branches, yard clippings and such, not grills and such.
