Just dropping in with a cook, and some news

Our son's marriage was Friday, so with all the things leading up to that, I've been taking a break from posting here.

This is what I call a reverse sear bscb cook from last week.
Brined, then applied Mrs Dash Table Blend.

Gave them a little apple smoke.

Our tree is up now.

I closed the bottom vents half way, used one basket of lump/briq mix, and kept the fat ends toward the fire.

Then seared like a steak.

They turned out very tender, juicy, and delicious.

We have an empty nest now, but our hearts are full.

Thank you all for feeling like a part of our family too!

First of all congratulations on your son's marriage! That's an interesting twist on the BSCBs going to give that a try as those darn things can be moist one minuet and dry as a bone the next. By keeping the big end toward the heat the smaller end won't dry out.

Congrats to the whole family, did they get any webers for gifts? Great looking young couple and it looks to me like you gained one not lost one. Oh....nice cook.

First of all, congratulations to you and your family, Bob. They are a fine looking couple. Looks like your son might have played a little ball? The chicken is gorgeous and so is that tree.

Congratulations from the bottom of my heart Bob. What a great looking couple. I hope they got a Weber somewhere in the presents :). Fine looking meal as well!!

Awesome pics Bob of your lovely Wife, Son and his Wife!!! Congratulations on gaining a Daughter in Law!!!
