I'm pretty sure this is a piece of sirloin.
The supporting cast. Butterkase really melts well.
Beef cubed and seasoned with salt, pepper and oil, with a couple of rosemary sprigs and some chopped bacon thrown in for good measure. The bowl sat in the fridge overnight.
I like my ground beef fairly coarse so just one pass through the grinder.
Three very hefty burgers.
Almost time to eat.

I was really happy with how these turned out. The meat didn't get dry even after cooking it enough to melt the cheese inside, and they had good flavor.
