Forgot to take pictures at start. I soaked the cedar plank for 1 hour. During this time I got the glaze together, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar in pan over medium low heat 20 minutes reduced by half. Remove from heat and add the garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes. Cool slightly and then wish in the oil. Reserve ½ cup for basting. Thighs in bag with glaze in fridge until grilling time.

Chicken on plank indirect over medium heat on the Performer at 350 – 450 F for about 30 to 40 minutes or until the juices run clear. Baste during the last 10- 15 minutes.

Thanks for looking and have a great week.

Barb that looks wonderful. The chicken looks delicious and I love the vegetable noodles. I have a weakness for mushrooms. Love how you prepared all of it.

Barb:
Great job! Chicken on a plank works well, for sure! In fact, many things go well on the plank - pork chops, whole onions, salmon, and one of my favorites, as you know, meatloaf...

Keep on smokin',

Great looking planked chicken, and I like the subtle way to give out your recipes on your cooks.
Thanks
