Beer.

Looks great Dwain!

Been wrestling with a leak in my kegerator since switching to Duo Tight fittings and EVA Barrier tubing with a MK4 regulator. Finally, out of desperation, went back to a TapRite with conventional tubing and fittings. Just reinforces the old, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Pouring, and enjoying, a West Coast IPA with C hops.
I use duo tight on the gas side but clamps and barbs on the liquid side. Cheers!🍻

Greetings all - hope everyone is having a peaceful and mindful Memorial Weekend.

We went to White Labs Brewing yesterday for a flight of tasty brews and a pizza.

Came home with a growler of Great Odin's Raven IPL - enjoying a glass now and some classic WW2 movies

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday.

Dark ominous skies, inside watching BritBox and sipping a nice beer.

Just put a batch of Pale Ale in the fermenting fridge. Haven't been brewing much lately. Just don't have the energy for it any more:(

I've got ingredients for a couple more batches. Not sure if I'll continue brewing after that.
I admire you guys who go for home brewing - I love the idea, but I'm lazy.

I do as much as I can to support the local craft by visiting breweries as much as I can. :)

We did a lot of brewery hopping when our youngest lived in Salem, OR and then Seattle. Used to meet her in Bend. OR for a few days at least once a year. Also met her in San Diego once. Loved breweries in both places, but we don't care for big cities, so Bend was our Beercation Destination of choice.

Forgive me if I ranted about this earlier in this thread because I probably did, but...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is up with these IPA jagoffs insisting on calling their beers "juicy"? A piece of nicely cooked protein can be juicy. Fruit can be juicy. There's even Juicy Fruit gum.

But *BEER* is a *LIQUID*. Nobody ever talks about juicy soda. Or juicy Kool-Aid. Or juicy water. Or even juicy blood. Just give it a freakin' rest, you arrogant hop junkies.

The rest of you can just get your d*mn *sses off my lawn. ;)

I see the same thing when I see these coffee tasting pundits saying their espresso is "juicy" gimme a break :D

I think they're referring to it being like fruit juice. If I wanted to drink something like a "Juicy" NEIPA, I'd just mix a cheap beer into some pulpy juice.

<scratches head> I think it more relates to a very hazy brew, possibly with some citrus flavors without adding citrus itself. Not my chosen style of beer.
