Ominous skies for last night's cook.

We've had so much rain lately that river birch tress are sprouting everywhere.

Apple juice, water, salt brined loin chops on before the storm hits.
Weber Steak & Chop for seasoning.

Everything presented in the gorgeous pics!

They both look great Bob, I'd have a hard time picking one, oh heck I'll eat both of them right now! Hey if you have extra rain we could use some here haven't had a drop in over nine months

As always, Bob, everything looks great.

Never done whole mushrooms. You "just" oil before heat or season it there as well? Looks like a sprinkle of sea salt at the end?

Glad that you braved the rain for those fantastic looking chops. When you get tired of all that rain send it towards Rich & SW CO. We'll take it.

Thanks again everyone!

Luke, yep, just put them in a bowl, poured on some evoo, and added a sprinkle of Maldon salt. (they soak up the oil)

Russ and Rich, wish I could send you some rain, it's raining now, again!
My oldest son lives in CO, east of the Springs and his pastures need water badly.
