I finally ditched nearly all of my diskette software 10 years ago..... then discovered that on a new system build here, I had to go buy a USB floppy drive to read the Windows drivers (I think I've used it once.) I remember installing Windows 386.…when you clean out a drawer and find a 3.5” disc labeled ‘Windows ‘95’.

My employer at the time skipped Windows 1. Went from running CP/M on Kaypro 10 luggables to Windows 2/386 for a few select individuals (Excel usage primarily,) then onto a mass migration to Windows 3.11. Really, I do not miss feeding a stack of diskettes one by one....I remember doing Windows 1
