Cooked some chicken stir fry on the Weber wok. Cook went well, learned a lot and the family loves it!!
seasoned chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder and onion powder. Coated with some corn starch looking for a crispy texture.
cheated on the veggies and went with Trader Joe’s Asian stir fry veggie mix, that was amazing. All in all a great cook, kids loved it wife loved it. WIN!!

Oh man that looks good Bruno. I just love simple recipes. That's a sharp looking Performer also. 😀

Edit: Forgot to ask about fire management, how many coal did you start with?

That looks excellent. Barb and I use to cook on our wok all the time, why we stopped I don't know, got to fix that

Kevin, the Lodge CI wok is a really good one, and on average about $20 cheaper than the Weber one (depending on sales, etc.) I've used mine with the Weber grate system no prob.

That’s a great call Rich, Lodge makes some great stuff and honestly I‘m not 100% convinced on this Weber one, It’s really rough and I had a lot of sticking, mostly from the corn starch I used, I’d probably skip that next time.

Congrats on your first cook! You seem to know how to work these things. A Natural. The cook looks Awesome, now pass the soy sauce :p.

Wife and kids just had left overs and they loved it again. I told the wife I wanted to tweak a couple things and she said DONT!! Always fun when the family likes it!
When you have leftovers, specially rice, it's time to go to the next level... Fried rice!

Did you cure yours in the oven before the first cook? I did and have never had a problem with sticking....
