Smoked Pepitas and Smash Sliders

I love shelled pumpkin seeds, but not raw, so I tossed 2 cups of them with a little garlic olive oil and salt.
Gave them a little hickory smoke indirect, then slid the char-baskets under the griddle for roasting.

That's funny. Great looking seeds and sliders Bob. Here it's windy (go figure) and 70*. Warm enough that I uncovered the performer and making some meatballs.
At least you caught the buns in time, mine I used for briquettes on another cook.
 
Nice seeds - I got some similar a couple times.......I still have about 8ozl.

I love the crust on that burger too!
 
thats a great looking lunch , bob and the seeds look real tasty. i enjoyed the comedy routine , too. ;)
 
The seeds look fantastic, as do the burgers. I love cooked pumpkin seeds too, but I always over cook them no matter how much I try not to
