With all the recent hubbub in the news about meat, we went to Harris Teeter, Thursday, and the meat case looked pretty good for the most part, although the chicken and pork stock had been picked over. I've been hearing stories about first-quality seafood products making its way to the grocery stores of late, and I found some peeled east coast shrimp for 6.99 per pound.
We fixed it Maryland style in a colander over boiling water and vinegar and sprinkled (the shrimp) with Old Bay seasoning. Sure was good.
