Yesterday, Clint suggested a recipe to use my homemade sausage in. I told him I had a thought in mind (I've done these before) and wanted to see what he thinks. Well, here ya go Clint:

I used Alton Brown's Breakfast Sausage and Sawmill Gravy recipes. The guy is out there but he can cook!

I partially boiled some eggs and wrapped them in sausage.

Man, I am stuffed.

I love the scotch eggs idea...I have not attempted that one...I think your right about being on the same wavelength Dwaine!! I made that gravy yesterday for breakfast .....good stuff!

Got news for you Dwain, Alton's got nothing on you. You can cook too!! Looks fantastic. Already saved it and will try it soon. Great job.

Great looking breakfast Dwain! I agree where Alton lives the sky is a different color than ours, but he can cook. But I'm sure you could show the boy a few skill sets he hasn't seen.

would you mind posting how you did the Scotch eggs? I think I'd like to try them

It's really easy. Simply boil some eggs a little less done than you like them. Peel them. Then lay out a little sausage in your palm, place the egg on the sausage, make a meatball, and grill.

Homemade Scotch Eggs are the bees-knees!
They look superb Dwain. Proper job mate!!

That means a lot to me Tony. I realize Scotch Eggs are British Pub fare. Hope I did the tradition justice.

Your Scotch Eggs look fantastic !!!

Just my humble opinion, Dwain:
You present your star of the evening (Scotch egg of course!), Please, do not cover it on a plate (I'm sure delicious) sauce.

Maybe for a presentation put them on top the sauce? In any case, it looks delicious my friend!

Constructive critism well taken sir. Great idea.

I've been eating SE since I was a nipper! Those ones you made rival/beat, in looks anyway, to anything I've seen or eaten, (except my Mum's of course. Mum's always make the best grub).
And the way they look, they CANNOT taste anything but FAB! They would go great with a nice dark IPA, sitting by a log fire in an old English country pub!
I have to agree with Mildo. Put the gravy on the side, so everyone can see how good those SE look. (Not a criticsm, just an opinion).
