Roadside Chicken Wings

Lately we've been on a bit of a wing bender. Asian style, Moroccan, Buffalo, Mexican. Tonight we tried the much loved "Roadside Chicken" on wings. I bought a basket for the rotis a while ago that I love and did them on the kettle at 400-425 for 45 minutes, basted every 5 minutes or so with the roadside sauce. They turned out great! Served with homemade slaw and tater tots. We tried a lot of dippings and found that Stubbs spicy BBQ sauce and Heinze 57 worked best, but to each his own :)

One change would be to put them over direct heat for a few minutes to crisp up the skin a little more. But other than that a major hit.

Sorry for the blurry pics and thanks for looking!
