My father-in-law passed away today. George Grindahl of Midland, MI was a really good guy, an Air Force veteran and a chemist by education who liked to read, study, and understand the world around us. He loved astronomy and the stars and looking up into the heavens. If it's clear tonight, I think I'll do some of that myself. But he loved nothing more than his wife, three daughters, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. I'm going to miss him like he was my own father. We lost my mom last month and now my wife's father this month. Kind of a rough patch...but we'll get through it. RIP George.
