On a lighter note, I think I had a jacket very much like that when I was a kid, in third or fourth grade I had my picture taken wearing it. My dad carried that picture in his wallet until he died!

Forget the jacket, I wish I could still pull off that haircut!

Welcome to the club of the loss of a parent & Parents.
As you remember my dad passed a little over 5 months ago now.
So I know what you are feeling, yes, I truely do.
As far as mom, 6 years ago on March 1st. As you I have been there & done that.
And its only made me stronger & hardened to the facts of life.
I'm glad that you had your parents around for many years

My sincere condolence on your family's loss. We lost our mom at age 61 to Cancer in the year 1983 and I really feel your hurt!
