My Oklahoma sister and brother-in-law visited us yesterday, it's been a year and a half since we've seen them.
I wanted something special, so a rib roast and a tri tip were on the menu for lunch.
Rib roast on the Performer:
Eleven oiled and seasoned spuds on the WSM.
(planned for 11, son-in-law had to work, so his meal went home with my daughter)

My plate looks puny, but I was saving room for dessert:
My daughter brought apple cake, using her grandma Correll's recipe:
Nothing better than good food shared with family.
Right after lunch the postman delivered a box containing some goodies from Wisconsin.
Included was a jar of hot mushrooms, and a note stating how good they are in a Bloody Mary,
so...........
The gift giver was not lying!!
I took a cardiac hit for the team this morning with a ribeye & provel cheese egg McRobert:
