My mom turned 80 earlier this month. Happy birthday, mom! She said she wanted to have the party in Maine, since half of her kids live either there or near there. Plus it's cooler than North Carolina and the lobster is a LOT less expensive!
So Pammi Sue and I got up there the 17th. I was pleasantly surprised to see this sitting in my niece's driveway!

She said she "borrowed" it from her work. It had been borrowed for several years by someone else before she "borrowed" it for the big shindig week. After assembling it(one of the doors was off and the side table was leaning against it),I hooked up the tank and hit the switch. Lit like it was brand new! And got hot real fast! Had to dirty it up with some burgers, dogs and turkey sausage!

Cooked real nice!
After dinner,my niece's husband asked what I was doing Sunday. There was nothing planned,so he asked me if I wanted to go to the NASCAR race in Loudon,NH. Did I? Heck yeah! It's about a 2 hour drive from where they live. Got there early and walked through all the souvenir trailers and sponsor trailers. I saw this and had to get a pic,and a brat!

I'd definetely need a yard stretcher for that one! My driver,Jeff Burton, came out of retirement for this one. He didn't win,but still,a great track and lot's of fun! Heck,I almost got into a fight! Just like being at home! LOL
While walking back to the car afterwards,I saw this by someone else's car.

They weren't there to ask pertinent questions, but heck,it fit right in with the surroundings!
The next day,we went to my nephew's house. he has an ECB offset that doubles as a grill. We had pork chops and taters from it,and somehow, not a pic or care was given! Good chops, beer and family time. Awesome!
Tuesday,we went for a couple brewery tours, but to start things off,the one and only, lobstah roll!

OMG! They are so good! And you can get them EVERYWHERE. Even McD's has 'em. But I wouldn't,if you know what I mean!
Wednesday,I helped my nephew work on his wife's car. I was pretty beat afterwards,so I showed his wife and another niece how to light the grill. They grilled taters and chicken for the kids.

The adults had,yep,MORE lobstah!
