My Part of our Labor Day Dinner

Since Rich did the ribs I went with the corn on the bone which is in his post and I finish it off with my mac salad and peach pie.
This is everything that goes into my salad, mixed together it comes out looking like this.

Next up is peach pie with my home made crust. Cooked in the 10” CIS on the performer. Cooked for about 40 minutes then ready to go in and rest till dinner time.

Looks great Barb. If you invite me over I can bring some ice cream for the pie.:)
 
OK, that tears it! I will bring the ice cream freezer and MAKE ice cream for that pie when I do my Weber fan cruise!
Prescott seems to be my "destination" via St. Louis, Katy Texas and probably a few other caloric input spots on the way! Have not figured how to work Aberdeen (Tony) Rome (Enrico) and Budapest (Kristof) in that trip yet, maybe I need to take two trips!

I've got to slow Barb down a little, she's getting so good at using the grills and smokers and baking on the grills that my talking scale is saying "one at a time please" when I get on it. Of course I can't refuse it or I'd be in deep you know what. I could exercise more but walking 45 miles a day to burn off the extra calories is a no can do for me. Heck I get tired driving 45 miles.

We've got an extra place set for you at the table when you come through Katy, TX.
 
Great looking salad and Pie! My wife made a peach and raspberry cobbler for our Labor day get together. Our neighbors (who also attended) across the way gave us the peaches from their tree and the raspberries were from our plants. Good food!
