Not necessarily as you both do a lot of work in there.I think I would go with what she prefers.
OK, but no luaghing. It's going much slower than I thought, but the price remains right. Got all the tile off, got all the cabinet doors & drawers off (several drawers need serious work) - I don't know when I'm going to R&R the window, it's pretty much rained 47.99 hour of the last 48. I'm pretty much done with the rain, thank you.You should be recording this whole process Chuck, much more interesting than HGTV.![]()
Been there, done that. I thought that was a ruleFridge was in the dining area, cooking on a hot plate, and dishes washed in the bathroom sink.
Lots of paper plates and plastic utensils were used.
At least it looks like you've been able to keep the kitchen usable.
A few years back when my son in law remodeled theirs, to prepare for selling the house, he gutted it and it was totally out of commission for a few weeks.
Fridge was in the dining area, cooking on a hot plate, and dishes washed in the bathroom sink.
Lots of paper plates and plastic utensils were used.
Had to say, this made me chuckle. We watch a lot of HGTV and it drives me nuts, throwing sinks through glass sliding doors, toilets out second story windows. Most of the time no eye protection, gloves etc. Nice idea on the old cabinets Rich
It's a real pain to do so, but it would be even more of a pain if I didn't LOLAt least it looks like you've been able to keep the kitchen usable
I was fortunate, the damage wasn't a whole lot more than shown. Maybe a foot more down. I still need the mesh paper to button up the outside, but I got the inside all buttoned upStucco jobs are a pain and I feel your pain. Once you find water damage you can open up a whole wall.
