More Vortex Wings Plus A Skirt Steak

James J

TVWBB Pro
Started off with 2 dozen wings, drummies only.
9 marinated with Island Teriyaki, 9 with SBR Buffalo Wing Sauce, and 6 with a rub of Weber Beer Can Chicken seasoning.

Skirt Steak marinated with Stubb's Beef marinade.

Vortex is up and running. Yes Rich, you need one of these!

Wings are on.

Inserted the sear grate after the wings went on, then 45 minutes later put the skirt steak on for 2 minutes per side.

Close up...

Gave the Buffalo Wings another bath.

And then it was snack time!

I got one in yesterday and can't wait to try it out. You all are posting awesome stuff with it!

I'm working on it, Barb asked me again today how much the vortex was. I'll show her your post, might be enough to get her to agree.

James, that is one fantastic cook and yes the vortex did a awesome job. Yes, Rich is working on me, have to admit you can do some fantastic things on it. Outstanding pics James and I'll take a plate.

Yes Barb, the Vortex produces some wonderful food, especially wings. I'm sure Rich is working on you because it seems that most of the members are working on him, when it comes to the Vortex that is.:)

Great looking wings & beef. Deeelish! The vortex is getting some good mileage on TVWBB of late.

Ok Barb, you've teased Rich enough now….....let him get his vortex. :)

That is a tasty looking snack James. I love the different flavor of wings. That's how we like to do them. I've never tried the beer can chicken rub. Did you like it?

Robert,
I was trying to offer a mild option by using the beer can chicken rub.
Others liked it, but to be honest, it was my least favorite of the 3.

Winner!!!
