So i corrected the problem

on the 14" WSM with apple wood at a nice 275ºF
umm, inside the smoker... outside, it was a little colder.

after two hours, i removed the center section and placed the cooking grate over the coal

i did sauce the steaks a little before serving, just did not photo that...
plated with iron skillet baked potatoes and a medley of veggies (carrots, cauliflower, Brussels and onions)

Glad to see you got that problem corrected Jim, steaks and plate look wonderful. You sir are a hardier animal than myself we haven't been outside to cook in over two weeks and aren't going to until it warms up and that has to be 50* or higher.

Great looking meal! Since my wife won't eat pork, I don't get it very often. Posts like these get me drooling!

It's Spring Rich! The temps here hit 48ºF last time i looked... may have been higher!
