My better half had some friends over, and promised to make them an authentic Korean dinner. Of course, I was in charge of grilling the short ribs (kalbi).
Grill shot. I cook them with indirect heat for awhile, to let some of the sugary marinade run off/seep into the meat. Then I give it a quick sear to finish:
And on my plate it goes. Clockwise, starting with the meat: kalbi, japchae, rice with marinated bean sprouts, kimchi, and marinated broccoli. Not pictured: some awesome homemade mandu (dumplings/pot stickers).
