I will just leave this here

Check out this quality Home Depot assembly.

I picked up this Spirit E210 Saturday. When loading I went to pull
out the grease pan, that clearly seemed be missing at first glance.
Upon further inspection, I found it INSIDE the firebox, under the burners.
Exhibit A for why it's important to READ & UNDERSTAND THE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. :D

Genesis Platinum stainless - Cool yes, but...

Here's a Boca Raton price for a Genesis Platinum: $375

At first glance, looks really nice. But no cabinet pictures. Look closely at the bottom fake "frame" part that always rusts. See that toward the right?

Look at the back, same kind of thing on the left. The irrigation system probably sprayed on the grill on this side:eek:.

These are really nice grills, other than the stupid cabinet. No way worth $375, though. Even if selling in Boca:rolleyes:!

Plus it looks like the welds in the extensions are broken by the way the left side table hangs down. This seems to be a common issue on them. Not a biggy as this can be fixed. But $375 is $300 more than what I paid for mine. I am still looking for another one to build a grill table.

Someone on the Weber FB group posted a few days ago that he got a brand new firebox from Weber for an old style Summit like this.

I messaged the guy to ask for "real" prices. Here was his response:

The Genesis e310 would be $670 and the Summit e470 would be $1800. That's for either LP or natural gas. If youre looking at the e310, I'd strongly suggest looking at the e330 too. I just went through that process and bought the 330. Should have it in 2 weeks. It was $740. That's all including tax/shipping.

Actually, not really bad prices, especially if it includes tax and shipping. I just wouldn't want to buy a "hot" grill.

I've seen conversations about newer and older grill height and how a couple inches taller makes it much nicer to use. Well then I saw this.

For anyone that has ever said the grill is not tall enough.

Check out this Weber grill 5’5 tall custom for $300 on OfferUp https://offerup.co/hSizfw9giW

Yah, those grills are clearly hot before you even light them. Makes the flipping market kind of cold though.
