Hanger Steaks & Cornish Hen

Lately I've been trying to clear out some of my frozen meat inventory to make room in the freezer (for more meat of course), so I thawed out a couple of hanger steaks and an organic Cornish hen. Thanks for dropping by to view the photos. I'm seeing lots of great cooking in everyone else's posts…keep up the good work fellow TVWBB members!

Two hanger steaks seasoned with just salt, pepper, and fresh chopped garlic. Cooked on the old Performer by reverse searing over lump charcoal.

A couple shots of the steaks after coming off the grill, as well as a cutaway view of the interior.

An organic Cornish hen I got at a farmers market. Cooked at high heat until the skin was crispy.

Outstanding job on both the hanger steaks and bird. They both look real yummy but that cut away shot of the steak WOW!!

Great looking steaks Jerome. I love the color on the hen too. You turned in a couple of expert cooks as usual...

Regards,

John
