Had to have a burger!

90/10 mix of home-ground brisket and pork, mixed in some DP Raising the Steaks, salted well, then onto hot cast iron for a good crust. Flip, more crusting, then a brief steam covered to melt the cheese. YUM! SO GOOD! :)

Didn't do so well with pics, but got two. You can see the crust peeking out from under the blanket of cheese:

...and doubled up on the bun (won't need dinner tonight!):

I turned my brother onto the home-ground brisket burger a few weeks back, says he won't do them any other way again. And, really, why would you?!? :)

See y'all!

I just sit down with no lunch today, and I see this! That is my kind of meal Rich. I know that crust was crunchy and delicious. Fabulous burger.

Sorry, Cliff, but you should know better then to look around here on an empty stomach!! :)

Way to go! That would last me all day, too.

.....it SHOULD last me all day, Robert, but somehow, I'm guessing I'll find room for some dinner later......might need to err on the side of more vegetables, though!

In the dictionary under "Burger", there should simply be a picture of that plate.

That just looks like the perfect burger. I'm a huge cheeseburger fan. Delicious!!!
I'm with Robert. All the pulled pork, brisket and ribs are great, but there's nothing like a good burger and that one looks killer Rich.

Looking at things here, with or without an empty stomach, and getting hungry is standard operating procedure! I can eat lunch or dinner (breakfast or any snacks) and get hungry! That burger is no exception!
