Folks

thought I'd share these with you all - our first ever presentation boxes
four of the seven rounds - I'll have the other three soon

first up was ribs

probably could have looked a little better - but they tasted great

then my brisket

only the third I've ever cooked

then chicken

and finally pulled pork

we didn't get called for any of these (not top 5 of 25 entries) and don;t have the full results yet...but we LOVED competing...
thanks
Chris

Chris, congrats on your 1st. Never again will it be your 1st. You mentioned 4/7 rounds, not KCBS?.
I have done a bit of comp and would only suggest:, before turn in, look at your box as a picture, is it the best looking picture you could make, is there any added "stuff" in the picture that you don't really need, sauce spots on the box, flecks on the slices etc. Take a couple minutes and critically look!
You did a great job and I bet the meat tastes wonderful. Lots a work, those comps!

Excellent job, Chris and Team Bullet Brothers BBQ !!!
As you found out, comps are so much more than just cooking BBQ !
